neurodiversity-affirming Therapy

Affirming care to help explore, heal, and grow.

Therapy at Neudle is built on lived experience, understanding, and acceptance. As a neurodivergent-led team, we offer a safe space where you can explore your identity without masking or conforming to neurotypical expectations.

We focus on supporting and empowering, not ‘fixing.’ Whether you’re seeking support for Autism, ADHD, or other forms of neurodivergence, our affirming therapists will help you build self-understanding, develop strategies, and navigate challenges with confidence. Therapy is about embracing who you are, on your terms.

We Support

Our therapy services are designed to support neurodivergent people in understanding themselves, building meaningful strategies, and navigating life’s challenges in an affirming way. We take a personalised approach, recognising that each person’s experience is unique and valid.

Autism

Being Autistic in a neurotypical world can be exhausting. Whether you’re navigating sensory sensitivities, social relationships, executive functioning challenges, or the impact of masking, we’re here to help. Our therapy supports you in understanding and advocating for your needs, developing self-compassion, and unmasking in a way that feels safe and empowering. We don’t try to change who you are - we help you embrace your Autistic identity with confidence.

ADHD

ADHD can come with creativity, hyperfocus, and deep passion. But it can also bring challenges like time blindness, executive dysfunction, and emotional intensity. Our approach focuses on understanding your brain’s unique wiring, reframing unhelpful narratives, and building practical strategies to support your daily life. Whether you need help with organisation, motivation, emotional regulation, or relationships, we’ll work with you to develop sustainable approaches that play to your strengths.

Neurodiversity

Neurodivergence extends beyond Autism and ADHD, encompassing a range of experiences including PDA, dyslexia, giftedness/2E, learning differences, and more. Many neurodivergent people have co-occurring identities that shape their experiences. We take an intersectional approach, ensuring that all aspects of your neurodivergence are acknowledged and understood. Therapy with us is about recognising the full picture of who you are and working with you to build a life that aligns with your values and needs.

Mental Health

Many neurodivergent people experience mental health challenges - not necessarily because of their neurodivergence itself, but due to a lifetime of invalidation, masking, and navigating a world that isn’t built for them. Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, trauma, or other mental health concerns, we provide a safe, understanding space to work through it at your own pace. Some of the areas we can support with include:

  • Stress
  • Burnout
  • Anxiety and social anxiety
  • Mood difficulties (e.g. depression)
  • Trauma and neurodivergent trauma
  • PTSD and c-PTSD
  • Self-esteem, relationships, work, and study challenges
  • Capacity building
If you’re struggling with something not listed here, reach out to discuss how we can support you. Chances are, we can help.

FAQ

How do I book therapy?

Neudle’s therapy is in high demand, so we use a waitlist system. You can sign up here to secure your place, and we’ll contact you when a spot becomes available. If the timing isn’t right, you can choose to delay or cancel, there’s no obligation.

You don’t need an assessment to access therapy with us, though sometimes therapy is recommended as a follow-up to the assessment process. If you have questions, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to help.

What makes Neudle's therapy different?

We offer a genuinely affirming space where you don’t have to mask or conform to neurotypical expectations. Our neurodivergent psychologists deeply understand the challenges you face and provide therapy that prioritises self-understanding, validation, and empowerment.

Will I be pushed into a specific approach?

Not at all. You’re the expert on your own experience. Our therapy is client-led, meaning we collaborate with you to tailor sessions to your needs, preferences, and goals. We offer guidance and support, but you’re always in control of your therapeutic journey.

How do we help neurodivergent people?

As neurodivergent psychologists, we bring both lived experience and professional expertise to our work. We understand the struggles of navigating a neurotypical world and provide therapy that affirms your identity, celebrates your strengths, and helps you build strategies to support your well-being.
