Support Groups
Our Support Groups are a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in the neurodivergent community while also gaining valuable insights. There is no expectation for participation in group discussions, as we understand that everyone has a different comfort level.
Each group is limited to a maximum of 12 participants, providing an ideal environment for engagement, discussion, and support.
Group sessions are held via Zoom, so you can participate from anywhere!
02 November 2023 ~ 07 December 2023
Neudle's Neurodiversity Support Group explores various topics related to neurodivergence, including understanding neurodivergence, masking, neurodivergent trauma, burnout, social ecology, and neurodivergent growth. Each session is structured but also provides time for discussion and sharing personal experiences. By the end of the group, you will have a greater insight into your own neurodivergent experience, and will have developed ways to help navigate a neurotypical society.

This webinar provides more in depth information about conceptualising neurodivergence from a neurodiversity affirming, evidence-based perspective. The focus of the webinar is providing education about contemporary cognitive neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, neurodiversity, social ecology, lived experience, the minority stress model, and the theory of positive disintegration. You will learn about neural dynamics in Autism and ADHD, how these dynamics may account for other neurodivergent experiences, neural compensatory mechanisms and savantism, how to critically analyse research in the areas of clinical neuroscience, neuropsychology and functional neuroscience in light of neurodiversity, lived experience and social ecology. The webinar also provides an introduction to the theory of positive disintegration and historical development of neurodivergence in the context of academic censorship, and how the revival of dynamical models of neurodiversity is consistent with modern neuroscience. This webinar focuses on understanding neurodivergence at the level of psychology and the brain, though attendees will be provided resources if they wish to further explore anthropological, political, sociological, and biological perspectives. An integrative theoretical framework will be provided that underlies neurodiversity affirming care.
This webinar is suitable for relevant professionals.

This webinar provides an introduction to Neudle’s model of neurodiversity affirming therapy (NAT). The webinar briefly covers the theoretical foundations of the integrative framework that draws on the fields of cognitive neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, neurodiversity (including enactivism and social ecology), lived experience, the minority stress model, and the theory of positive disintegration. You will learn how to identify the most common clinical presentations in neurodivergent people: neurodivergent burnout, minority stress, neurodivergent trauma, neurodivergent health challenges, and positive disintegration. This overview webinar provides a brief overview of common needs of neurodivergent people in therapy and how to accommodate for these needs to maintain safety and therapeutic engagement.
This webinar is suitable for relevant professionals.

This webinar specifically focuses on the clinical skills involved in neurodiversity-affirming therapy (NAT). The webinar includes an overview of NAT integrative framework and principles. The webinar focuses on specific skills for working therapeutically with neurodivergent people within the NAT framework including establishing a therapeutic relationship for the purposes of therapy, collaborative agenda/goal setting, seeking/receiving feedback, self-disclosure with neurodivergent populations, and ways to work on therapy goals in a way that aligns with the neurodivergent person’s way of processing. The webinar also includes education on needed accommodations during therapy, and how to identify and accommodate for differences in communication, cognitive processing, neurodivergent profiles (including RDS, PDA and RSD) and emotional responses (including neurodivergent trauma responses) without placing additional pressure on the neurodivergent person. This webinar briefly touches on neural synchronisation in therapy.
This webinar is suitable for relevant professionals.

This webinar focuses on identifying, assessing, working with, and supporting the most common presentations of neurodivergent people seeking care: neurodivergent burnout, minority stress, neurodivergent trauma, neurodivergent health challenges, and positive disintegration. Models of understanding and formulating each of these presentations and these will be discussed in the context of Neudle’s NAT model.
This webinar is suitable for relevant professionals.

This webinar focuses on understanding the three areas of support needs for neurodivergent people: autonomy, connection and balance. When there are unmet needs in these areas, neurodivergent people experience the emergence of syndromes called Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), and Reward Deficiency Syndrome (RDS). This webinar provides education about these specific presentations and how they overlap with overexcitabilities, common neurodivergent brain styles, and neurodivergent trauma. The webinar also provides specific information about needed accommodations about each profile and how to integrate these into other aspects of the individuals’ unique experience of neurodivergence.
This webinar is suitable for relevant professionals.

This webinar provides education on how Neudle’s model of neurodiversity affirming therapy can be applied to individuals with ABI, neurological disorders and specific learning disabilities. The webinar briefly covers the clinical neuropsychology of acquired brain injury, neurological disorders and specific learning disabilities and demonstrates how neurodiversity affirming care still applies to individuals who aren’t conventionally seen as having “superpowers” popularised by ADHD and Autism community. This webinar briefly covers neurodiversity affirming needs assessment, advocacy and collaborating with other professionals to meet the diverse needs of neurodivergent clients. This overview webinar provides a brief overview of common needs of neurodivergent people in therapy and how to accommodate for these needs to maintain safety and therapeutic engagement.

This webinar provides an introduction to Neudle’s model of therapeutic neurodiversity-affirming assessment (TNA). The webinar briefly covers the theoretical foundations of the assessment model that draws on the fields of cognitive neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, neurodiversity (including enactivism and social ecology), lived experience, the minority stress model, the theory of positive disintegration, and in particular, collaborative/therapeutic assessment. You will learn the key principles of TNA and how TNA differs from conventional assessment. You will learn that using TNA draws on a stronger evidence base than conventional assessment and the reasons why TNA is the most ethically and scientifically sound approach to assessing neurodivergent people. The webinar will also cover the risks of administering conventional assessments to neurodivergent people, and the minimum adjustments that are required to ensure the safety of assessment in neurodivergent people.

This webinar specifically focuses on the qualitative report writing skills involved in therapeutic neurodiversity-affirming assessment (TNA). The webinar includes an overview of TNA framework and principles. The webinar focuses on areas for report writing for the purposes of providing written documentation to neurodivergent clients and/or their families. This covers how to write reports to explain neurodivergence to clients, display their neurodivergent profile, identify how different aspects of neurodivergence relates to them, identifies strengths, identifies support needs, and provides specific individualised recommendations based on their unique neurodivergent profile. You will learn how to conceptualise and provide this in a way that the person can understand that fits with their unique story. You will also be provided with some templates to work off in your report writing including a sample of a qualitative report using Neudle’s dynamical neurodivergence chart.
